“Open” is one of the most used words in company names, from OpenAI to Opendoor. Some of them are open source, most are not. Openroster lists both kinds, and says which is which.

Anyone with an account can submit a company. Submissions are checked automatically against the company’s own website and repository, then published, and every listing can be corrected by emailing us or by its owner after they claim it.

Every listing is reviewed, and placement never changes the facts. Being listed is not an endorsement.
